Steven Meisel had been chosen to shoot the 2015 Pirelli calendar, and now more details of the edition have surfaced.
Vogue Italia – which is helmed by Meisel’s long-time friend and collaborator Franca Sozzani – secured an exclusive spot on the calendar’s shoot, which took place in New York in May. So, what can we expect?

Well, its theme is fetishism, and the models have all been styled by Carine Roitfeld, former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief, in looks based around latex corsets and bustiers. Inspirations include Brigitte Bardot and Catwoman, and one of the models featured, Isabeli Fontana, sports a “Raquel Welch with the whip and cowgirl pants” get-up.
Other models set to feature include Joan Smalls, Sasha Luss, Karen Elson, newcomer Gigi Hadid, Candice Huffine, Adriana Lima, Natalia Vodianova and Raquel Zimmermann. Read more.
